Project 01
Implementation of SNORT for
Intrusion Detection
This project was focused on implementing SNORT, an Intrusion Detection System, to monitor and detect potential security threats within the network infrastructure.​ I configured SNORT rules and policies to enhance network security and mitigate potential risks and also investigated and responded to alerts generated by SNORT to prevent security breaches.
Project 02
Network Infrastructure Setup
For this project, I designed and deployed a comprehensive network infrastructure for a new office, including routers, switches, and subnetting configurations. I implemented security protocols and measures to safeguard the network from external threats and also conducted network testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Project 03
Vulnerability Management Lab
As part of this project, I established a virtualized environment on my own PC and installed Vulnerability Assessment Tool called NESSUS Essentials. I then installed some old deprecated softwares to mimic a realistic IT infrastructure and ran vulnerability scans on them. Analyze scan results to prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity levels and potential impact. Implement a patch management process to apply security patches and updates promptly, ensuring systems remain resilient against known vulnerabilities.
Project 04
Building a gaming PC
As part of this project, I customized and and created a powerful gaming rig. I did research on all the parts and Choose high-quality components from reputable brands that offer the performance I desired. I assembled all the components together in the Motherboard, did all the mounting and testing, configured the BIOS, installed necessary softwares and Optimized my PC to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
